Symantec to Dominate Worldgate IV with 50,000 SF

HERNDON, VA-Internet security technology solutions provider Symantec Corp. has signed on to occupy 49,433 sf of space within Worldgate IV, an 80,000-sf office building within the Worldgate Plaza multi-structure business park. The Landlord Services Group of CB Richard Ellis orchestrated the lease transaction on behalf of building owner Miller Global Properties. Most details of the transaction, according to CB Richard Ellis’s Bill Kamp, are being kept quiet as per Symantec’s request.

Located off the Dulles Toal Rd. at 12801 Worldgate Dr., Worldgate IV was developed two years ago and is one of four class A office structures that account for a total of 360,000 sf. Kamp tells GlobeSt.com that Symantec leased the space to accommodate the relocation of one of its offices “from within the area.”
