NJ-NAIOP Celebrates Award Winners

TEANECK, NJ-The New Jersey chapter of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) honored industry leaders for their contributions at its 16th annual gala on May 14.

TEANECK, NJ-Brandywine Realty Trust and the Morris Co. were the co-Impact Award recipient at the 16th Annual Commercial Real Estate Awards held here May 14. Herman Simonse received a Lifetime Achievement Award and David. T. Houston, Jr. was honored with the Industry Service Award.

The Impact Award recognizes up to two firms and /or individuals, at least one of which is a member of the New Jersey Chapter, that havehad a significant impact on New Jersey’s commercial and industrial real estate development industry. “Brandywine was founded on and continues to operate on the simple premise of doing the ordinary, extraordinarily well,” said Brandywine president and CEO Gerard H. Sweeney in his acceptance speech. “We apply this process to all that we do to maximize benefits to our tenants, employees and shareholders. This is a great recognition of the quality of our entire team and we very much appreciate your good wishes.”
