SSA will make the building at 890 Airport Park Rd. its new headquarters, thereby abandoning its current corporate offices on Ritchie Highway in Arnold, MD. Flex space at similar suburban Maryland properties leases for an average of about $12.80 per-sf.

"Our primary interest in the building was the convenience in location that it provided our existing employees," SSA's Jim Rallo explains. "We highly value our team and it was important to address their needs in any real estate search." The health care firm looked to real estate services company NAI KLNB Inc. to help with its pursuit of a new location to house its staff of about 45 employees. MIE Properties represented itself in the arrangement.
