"People want to live at Trellis Fifth Avenue because the community is located close to everything that downtown living has to offer," says Keith Fernandez, president of Sandcor Management LLC, the project's development management company. "This location offers the perfect combination of culture, class and convenience." The two-tower complex is rising on K Street between Fifth and Sixth avenues, in the heart of the city's bustling Gaslamp District. It is being designed to provide some attractions of its own, including 18,264 sf of retail space and a common entertainment courtyard. In addition, the project will feature a controlled-access parking garage, a recreation room and a landscaped lobby courtyard.

Trellis LLC is developing the complex, which is being built by general contractor Ledcor SD Construction Inc. California Bank & Trust is the lender for the project.
