Exel will use the facility to provide third party logistics services to a consumer products customer. Matthew Wright, European development surveyor for Exel, says ProLogis Park Lille Seclin is located in a key distribution hub and provides convenient access for Exel to Northern and Southern Europe.

Excel is ProLogis' second largest customer, leasing more than 3.5 million sf in 22 facilities worldwide, including over 1.3 million sf in Europe. "Exel continues to be one of our most progressive and dynamic customers and we look forward to continuing to strengthen our relationship with them in the future," said Ranald Hahn, ProLogis managing director and regional head for Southern Europe.

Exel's facility is the fourth building developed by ProLogis at its Lille, France, property. All told, ProLogis has 226.7 million sf in 1,728 distribution facilities owned, managed and under development in 67 markets in North America, Europe and Japan.
