The ground-breaking is planned for December 2003 for Phase 1 and a year later for Phase 2. Completion is set for January 2006 and January 2007.

Units, which offer water views, vary in size from 550 sf for studios, to 800 sf for one-bedroom units to 1,150 sf for two-bedroom units. Unit prices will range from the $140,000s to $600,000. The property also will have 8,275 sf of commercial/office space.

Quantum will have 40,000 sf of recreational space and will feature two open-air pools, a private health club, an exercise facility and a sauna. The Quantum Club and business center also will be located on site. Other amenities include covered parking, valet service and 24-hour security.

Principals of Terra Adi International Developments are Pedro Martin, David Martin and Jorge Lamadrid. The project's architect is Nichols Brosch Sandoval & Associates in Miami. The landscape architect is Fuster Design & Associates.

A sales center for the development is scheduled to open on site in June or July. Quantum will target professionals, the middle-aged, foreign investors and empty-nesters who want a condominium lifestyle.
