Salmon Harvester has sold its retail and office buildings in Westgate Street, Gloucester to Sterling House Estates for £4 million ($6.6 million). The properties comprise 30,000 sf of retail and 14,000 sf of office space in the Galleria building. Tenants include Office World, Hyper Value and Majestic Wine who pay a current rent of £300,000 ($492,000) pa. Edwards Hardwick & Partners acted for the purchaser.

In Hanely, Staffordshire, Richcliff (UK) has sold Blackburn House, 2 Old Hall Street, to a private investor for £3.3 million ($5.4 million). It consists of 89,386 sf over 11 storeys, including a 21,000-sf retail unit let to BEM Retail Limited for 15 years from last year with 5 yearly upward only rent reviews at a rent of £150,000 ($246,000) pa. The 68,270 sf offices are let to the secretary of State for Transport, Local Government and the Regions for 25 years from 1976 and the tenant is holding over a rent of £388,250 ($636,090) pa. The tenant has requested a new 5 year lease. Nelson Bakewell represented Richcliff.
