Property Investors to get Screen-Based Trading

LONDON-There's a new product on the market designed to speed up the property investment market and make property investment as efficient as stock or bond trading

LONDON-A new exchange launches this week that could revolutionise the way in which commercial property is traded and create a property investment platform equivalent to the London Stock Exchange.

Propex Professional takes a step towards providing property investment professionals with a screen-based trading system similar to those used by city traders. It will provide an efficient method for vendors to introduce their investments to the marketplace, in addition to providing a range of supplementary information such as deals comparables, news and research.

A basic version of the exchange has already been trialled by many of the larger institutions and the latest version of the product – Propex Professional – is now available to the investment community at large.
