Sorrento Investments Buys TractoAmerica Building

MIAMI-Sorrento Investments Corp. of Coral Gables, FL has purchased the TractoAmerica building here for approximately $3 million, or about $90.84 per sf. The seller of the 33,023-sf office/warehouse building was locally based T-B Investments LLC.The building is located at 8130 NW 58th St. in the Airport West submarket. Miami-based Alliance Cos. Inc. broker Ernie Cambó represented T-B Investments LLC in the transaction, which closed recently.Any immediate plans for this property were not disclosed, other than that TractoAmerica, the current tenant, is doing a lease-back of the building.”This transaction proves that the warehouse sales market remains strong despite the current economy,” Robert Cambó, president of Alliance Cos., says in a statement. “Breaking the $90-per-sf barrier for warehouse space in Airport West is a significant achievement for our industry.”TractoAmerica is an industrial parts and equipment distributor, whose products include tractor replacement parts for Caterpillar, John Deere, Case, Komatsu and several other brands.
