Also at the center, Roly Poly Sandwiches, a quick casual chain specializing in rolled tortilla sandwiches, leased 1,200 sf for a store that will open this spring. The chain already has about 90 locations.
Local florist Ashley's of Palatine renewed its lease on its existing 1,350 sf store at the center.
Richard Spinell, principal of Mid-America Asset Management Inc., negotiated the sale of the land parcel to Wal-Mart, with M. Blonstein of Prime Site as cooperating broker. Claudia Gatti, a VP at Mid-America, represented the shopping center in the lease negotiations. Jon Reese of Mathew Moran & Associates represented the sandwich chain.
