The new addition to Woodholme further solidifies Barnes & Noble's status as the largest retail bookseller in the world. "Bookselling is a very local business," store manager Chris Acly explains. "Underlying our success is our expertise at tailoring the selection of every store to the community it serves."

Located at 1809 Reistertown Rd., just off the Baltimore Beltway, the 81,000-sf Woodholme mini-mall features other such popular retailers as Pier One Imports and Sutton Place Gourmet. While the terms of Barnes & Noble's lease agreement with property owner First Washington Realty Trust Inc. have not been disclosed, First Washington vice president of leasing Marty Flax tells GlobeSt.com that base rent at the property is $35 per-sf.
