After Hurricane Andrew struck in 1994, Glasswall was purchased and transformed from an installation company to a manufacturer to meet the growing market demand. Glasswall, a full-service company, manufactures and installs impact and non-impact glass products, which include sliding doors, railings, windows, shower doors and mirrors, which meet Miami-Dade's hurricane codes. Colombo has developed prominent properties such as Santa Maria, Bristol Towers, Porto Vita and The Collection.
