Encompassing 110,994 sf, the property is a mid-rise, class A office facility. Current occupants here include Residential Funding Corp. and Hoyle Cohen.
Mesa View Plaza received the $20-million loan from Aetna Investments Inc. on behalf of Manchester Resorts. Mark McGovern of L.J. Melody & Co.'s San Diego office arranged the transaction.
The deal follows on the heels of another office financing transaction, in which Rio Vista Plaza secured a $12-million loan. Owner Silver Creek LLC used the funds to refinance the property.
Silver Creek LLC, which is owned and managed by Gary Beyler, acquired Rio Vista Plaza last year for $12.9 million from The Shidler Group. Encompassing 78,167 sf, the building is fully occupied. State Farm occupies a large portion of the facility, having inked a $5.8-million lease extension and expansion for 42,834 sf here in March.
