Hotel Victor to Open in December on South Beach

MIAMI-Hotel Victor, a 91-room hotel here on South Beach is scheduled to open in December.Set on Ocean Drive, the hotel, owned by Orlando-based ZOM Development, overlooks the Atlantic Ocean and is adjacent to the Versace mansion.

Hotel Victor was designed by architect L. Murray Dixon. Internationally renowned, Paris-based decorator Jacques Garcia is the hotel’s decorator. The interior will go along with the building’s simple deco lines and Asian-motif ironwork. Garcia is known for his use of color.

The lobby will have lounges on two different levels: the ground floor and mezzanine. The lobby spaces will include a large jellyfish tank and lamps hanging that will resemble jellyfish. The development also will feature an additional exterior courtyard and terraces.
