Newport National Corp. Completes Office Project

SAN DIEGO-The developer wraps up work on the new Emerald Lake Corporate Centre, which was started in October of 2001. Encompassing 83,682 sf, the property is located at the new entrance to the Carlsbad Research Center.

SAN DIEGO-Newport National Corp. has wrapped up construction on Emerald Lake Corporate Centre, its new Carlsbad office asset that also houses the firm’s corporate headquarters.

Construction on the $5.8-million project started in October of 2001. It is now completed, with the built-out structure located off Cannon Road at the new entrance to the Carlsbad Research Center at 1525 Faraday Ave. Encompassing 83,682 sf, the class A facility houses spec suites and build-to-suit office space in sizes ranging from 2,000 sf and up. The project is currently 20% leased.
