The facility will replace a smaller FedEx building. This modern structure is expected to better position the company to handle the growing global cargo shipping that takes place from this Latin American and Caribbean hub.

The project will involve three Stiles divisions: Stiles Development Co., Architecture 6400 and Stiles Construction Co. Site work and construction of infrastructure for the project are under way.

The facility will consist of 40,000 sf of air-conditioned office space and 97,000 sf of warehouse/distribution space. The project also will feature apron paving for 11 aircraft. It is scheduled to be completed this December.

Stiles also teamed up with FedEx in 1997, when the company built its 85,000-sf overnight delivery facility in Boca Raton, FL.
