Located at NW 13th and Couch, across from Whole Foods Market, this is the firm's second major expansion in the past six months totaling nearly $2 million. This latest expansion comes on the heels of a new $1 million store opened May 14 in Seattle's University Village.
The firm's expansion plans for the Pearl District call for investing $750,000 in the area, its first major investment in the Portland area since 1995. The new store will replace the company's existing 4,100-sf store currently located in Uptown Shopping Center in Northwest Portland.
Additionally, the firm will double its staff at the new location to 18 and expand its personalized design consulting services. The architect on the project is Randy Higgins, and construction is being led by Harsch Investment Properties and Pacific Crest Structures.
