Cushman & Wakefield director Brian Smith and senior director Wayne Ramoski represented both San Francisco-based AMB Property Corp. and National Electronics in the transaction which closed June 11.
Simultaneously with the sale, Smith and Ramoski negotiated a lease for AMB valued at more than $2.3 million for the space. Miami-based Caribmar Forwarding Inc., a longtime client of the brokers, inked a deal to occupy the entire building for five years. The lease value equates to nearly $4.92 per sf.
"We believe the purchase and simultaneous lease were win-win transactions for everyone involved," Smith said in a statement. This year, Smith and Ramoski have completed sales and leases of more than 900,000 sf combined.
