Care Rehab Brings its Distribution Center to Charlotte County

KEYSVILLE, VA-Physical therapy equipment provider Care Rehab and Orthopaedic Products Inc. has decided to open a new distribution center in the 50,400-sf shell building on Horseshoe Bend Rd. in the Charlotte County Industrial Park. McLean, VA-based Care Rehab will spend $3 million to get the 10-acre facility up and running. The company, which does business on an international level, had considered locating the facility in West Virginia or somewhere in Asia. The new center brings with it 50 new jobs for area residents.

Located at the intersection of US 360 and US 5, Charlotte County Industrial Park is strategically located less than 100 miles away from the Richmond International Airport and about two hours outside of Greensboro, NC. The UPS Regional Routing Center’s position adjacent to the park also provides added convenience.” This location will greatly assist Care Rehab in our next phase of expansion,” says Care Rehab president Christian Hunt. He adds that the project would not have been possible without the efforts of Gov. Mark R. Warner, the County of Charlotte, the Virginia Tobacco Commission, the Virginia Economic Development Partnership and the Heartland Regional Partnership.
