American Street Financial Service Center and Philadelphia Industrial Development Corp. provided the financing. SRK Associates Architects of Philadelphia designed the building, and Gardner/Fox Construction was the general contractor.
The HACE/Aramark building is located in the American Street Industrial District, which qualifies for the range of financing, tax, and procurement incentives available to state enterprise zone, federal empowerment zone, and Keystone Opportunity Zone projects.
Employees of the Aramark seniors program prepare and deliver 15,000 hot meals a week to approximately 50 senior centers in Philadelphia, Bucks, Montgomery and Chester counties.
HACE, founded in 1982, is a non-profit community development corporation that provides community and economic services in eastern North Philadelphia. To date, its neighborhood commercial and residential property developments are valued at more than $50 million.
