Latino Group and Aramark Open $1.5M Food Facility

PHILADELPHIA-Aramark's seniors program, which prepares and delivers 15,000 hot meals a week, is relocating from the suburbs to a new 10,800-sf facility at 1602-44 N. American St. The location qualifies for federal, state and local financing and tax incentives.

PHILADELPHIA-A new, 10,800-sf food preparation and distribution center at 1602-44 N. American St. will house locally based Aramark’s seniors program, which is relocating here from the suburbs. The Hispanic Association of Contractors and Enterprises developed the $1.5-million facility.

American Street Financial Service Center and Philadelphia Industrial Development Corp. provided the financing. SRK Associates Architects of Philadelphia designed the building, and Gardner/Fox Construction was the general contractor.

The HACE/Aramark building is located in the American Street Industrial District, which qualifies for the range of financing, tax, and procurement incentives available to state enterprise zone, federal empowerment zone, and Keystone Opportunity Zone projects.
