Terra Block Hires Ex-Giuliani Marketer

ORLANDO-Taking a more aggressive business stance, Orlando-based Terra Block International Inc. has hired Jean Cooksey and her Solano Marketing Group of San Francisco to generate more global sales, the company says in a prepared statement yesterday. Terra Block’s patented construction materials are used in erecting office buildings and multifamily projects worldwide.

Cooksey was a marketer for Rudolph W. Giuliani when he was mayor of New York City. She is credited with helping to start Giuliani’s town hall meetings program with local residents, according to Terra Block CEO Gregory Pitner. “I am quite confident she will be very effective, assisting us in the implementation of our world-wide marketing program,” says Pitner.
