Cambrex Completes $5M Lab

BALTIMORE-Cambrex Bio Science Inc., a division of Rutherford, NJ-based Cambrex Corp. has wrapped up part of the expansion of its current drug manufacturing facility by renovating an existing 80,000-sf building that sits adjacent to the main property on East Lombard St. The new expansion consists of a $5 million state-of-the-art biopharmaceutical development laboratory and pilot plant that will allow the company to test production processes by producing small, clinical trial-size batches of drugs.
