CMD on Leasing Spree in Suburbs

ATLANTA-CMD Realty Investors of Chicago has been busy in suburban Atlanta in the last 30 days. The owner/operator of 10 million sf of office and industrial space nationally has signed leases with four office tenants at three properties for a total 43,153 sf having an estimated lease value of $2.75 million.

At NorthChase Office Park, Accredited Home Lenders is taking 12,710 sf for five years at the 59,332-sf 1130 NorthChase building. The lease brings the 17-year-old structure to 21% occupancy. Gross asking rent is $15.50 per sf. Alex Hayden of CB Richard Ellis Inc. negotiated for the tenant.

At the 85,152-sf 1165 NorthChase building, also erected in 1986, Pratt & Whitney, represented by Mike Wells of US Real Estate Brokerage Services, is leasing 6,162 sf for one year. The lease brings the building to 93% occupancy. Gross asking rent is $17.50 per sf.
