Terrazas de Miami will conform to nature and be built in a highly vegetated area under several old trees. The entrance to the property will feature a Bombax Ceiba tree with a 95-foot canopy.

"We are creating a fluid transition between the project and the natural and man-made surrounding environment," says Jaime Schapiro, founder and president of the more than 20-year-old Schapiro Associates. "The result will be lush landscaping amidst an urban setting."

Award-winning Schapiro Associates' other current projects include The Atrium at Aventura, a 119-unit luxury condominium project scheduled to break ground in late summer and Setai Resort and Residences, a 40-story, 175-residence, luxury, oceanfront condominium and townhouse tower being built in Miami Beach.

The firm's past projects include La Gorce Palace and Sterling Residence in Miami Beach, The Courts at South Beach, and New River Village in Fort Lauderdale.
