The seller was MDN Lake Ida Inc. The sale price equates to approximately $85.62 per sf.The center is located at 600 N. Congress Ave. The center was 90% occupied at the time of the closing. Major tenants there include House of Appliances, Oxford Academy, Black Sheep Inn and Nobel Learning Center.
E.B.J. Holdings bought the property because of its great location in a booming area, according to Athan Prakas, who negotiated the deal.
Prakas, president and broker of the thee-year-old firm the Prakas Group Inc. of Boca Raton, FL, represented both E.B.J. Holdings LLC and MDN Lake Ida Inc. in the transaction. The Prakas Group will be the leasing agent representing E.B.J. Holdings.
