Local developer Stan Cameron plans Briddle Creek with 114,940 sf of commercial space, 202 townhomes and 137 single-family residences in Locust Grove, GA, near GA 42 and Cotton Fields Road. Build out is targeted for 2010, according to the report. The Atlanta Regional Commission and the Georgia Regional Transportation Authority are reviewing the project because of its size.

Also being reviewed by the city and state agencies is The Links at Walnut Creek, a 630-acre venture being developed around Lake Erma by Lake Erma LLC principals Mark Conner, Carl Vasallo and J.P. Evans, according to the report. The Links will have an 18-hole golf course and 630 townhomes and single-family homes.

The site is west of Mount Carmel Park between Jonesboro Road and Mount Carmel Road. About 150 of the homes are being marketed to retirees, according to the report.
