Mortimer will continue to serve as controller with responsibility for financial statement preparation, SEC compliance and day-to-day management of the company's accounting staff. He has more than 10 years of shopping center and real estate accounting experience. He holds a degree in accounting from Pennsylvania State University and is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers.
Kramont owns, operates, manages and has under development, 91 properties encompassing approximately 11.6 million sf of leasable space in 15 states. The overwhelming majority, 75%, of the REIT's neighborhood and community shopping centers are anchored by grocery, drug of value-oriented retailers.
