Sierra Pacific is based in Pittsburg, CA and is owned by brothers Albert Seeno Jr. and Tom Seeno. The company is also a homebuilder. Sierra VP Doug Messner tells GlobeSt.com the office building was funded through the company's existing lines of credit.

Wells Fargo's expanding home loan division is taking the third and fourth floors in the building and will utilize a portion of the first floor as a mail room, says Messner. Messner says Well Fargo looked at a few options in the region but found Metroplex to be the most central to its workforce.

Other signed tenants include Country Wide (6,000 sf), Mutual of Omaha (3,500 sf), and Ciber (4,000 sf). Owner concessions included a turnkey tenant improvement package of about $30 per sf, says Messner.

The Metroplex is located at 1401 Willow Pass Rd., one block from both Interstate 680 and Freeway 242. An 1,800-slip parking garage is being completed along with the office tower, which will have a twin 231,000-sf tower standing next to it when the market permits, says Messner. "We have been in Concord a long time, we have about 1 million sf of office there," says Messner. "It's always been a good business location for old economy tenants--banking and insurance."
