Avatar Properties Hires 2 Executives

CORAL GABLES, FL-Eric Finkelberg and Jeff Daley have joined Avatar as senior vice president of land acquisition and development, and as land acquisition manager, respectively. Both worked for Toll Brothers of Delray Beach, FL.

CORAL GABLES, FL-Avatar Properties Inc. of Coral Gables, FL, has hired two top-level executives from Toll Brothers Inc. Eric Finkelberg has joined Avatar as senior vice president of land acquisition and development, and Jeff Daley has joined as land acquisition manager.

Finkelberg will head the company’s land acquisition and business development department. Finkelberg has 17 years’ experience in real estate development, in acquisitions and operations, with the last 11 years in South Florida. Before he joined, he was a vice president of Toll Brothers Inc., where he oversaw land acquisitions for Florida, and vice president of operations for Toll Brothers’ Stuart, FL-based country club community.

Finkelberg has a bachelor’s degree in labor relations and economics from McGill University in Montreal and a bachelor’s degree in law from Osgoode Hall Law School in Toronto. A licensed real estate agent, he has a general contractor’s license for Florida.
