Bach's arrival at Sperry Van Ness comes as the California company expands its presence in the Tampa Bay commercial market. The company has grown its regional network to 65 regions from nine regions in two years, according to the firm's prepared statement. Jim Brady, the company's regional director, has headed the growth program.

Brady is counting on Bach's "expertise and reputation as one of Tampa's premier commercial real estate professionals" to continue Sperry Van Ness' growth in the central-west Florida market, the director says in the statement.

Bach has 22 years experience in commercial real estate, specializing in the sales of healthcare, industrial, office and senior housing properties in Florida. At Prudential Tropical Realty, the Odessa, FL native focused on investment and commercial property sales and specialized in healthcare facilities nationwide.

Bach holds a bachelor's degree in engineering from the University of Wisconsin. He was named Broker of the Year for 2002 by the Florida Gulfcoast Commercial Association of Realtors; Florida Westcoast District CCIM of the year for 2000; and is a five-time Pincale Award winner for production volume.

Bach is a charter member of the Real Estate Cyberspace Society where he holds the designation of Real Estate Cyberspace Specialist and is past president of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors' Florida chapter.
