In Tempe, Grubb & Ellis/BRE Commercial LLC's Marc Tuite, Mike Haenel and Andy Markham sold a 25,455-sf general industrial project located at 2303 W. Alameda Dr. A local investment buyer, Pete & Vicky Inc., purchased the building from Bank of America for about $1.2 million. The Grubb & Ellis team represented both the buyer and the seller in the transaction.
Haenel, Markham and Tuite also closed a 38,650-sf industrial lease at 1045 S. Edward Dr. in Tempe. Dexter Distributing Corp., a retail distribution company, took distribution space owned by Chicago-based First Industrial Realty Trust Inc. The Grubb & Ellis trio represented First Industrial in the deal, while Grubb's Anthony Lydon and Gary Anderson bargained for the inbound tenant.
Meanwhile, Systems Integration Plus relocated and expanded its operations into 7,133 sf of office, assembly and warehouse space in the Scottsdale Airpark at 7440 E. Karen Dr. in Scottsdale. Tom Atkinson with Grubb & Ellis/BRE Commercial negotiated the lease for Systems Integration and Randy Shell with Shell Commercial represented the owner, 7440 LLC.
