The price of the 10,000-sf office/operating building was $135 per sf. The property, on the market for 30 days, sold for a little less than the $1.4 million asking price. Roscoe plans to relocate his law firm to the building, which was built in 1984 for State Farm.

The building is located at 15055 S.W. 122nd Ave., just off Southwest 152nd Street and two blocks west of Florida's Turnpike. The property sits on a 69,309-sf lot and includes 99 parking spaces.

The sale represents a hot commercial real estate market in South Miami-Dade County over the past several years, according to Resource Real Estate Group Inc., which brokered the sale and specializes in that area.

J. Brett Houston of Resource Real Estate Group represented State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Co. in the transaction. Leonard Perlman of Coldwell Banker Commercial represented Roscoe.
