Both Davies and co-owner partner Dennis Chambers will continue providing strategic direction for the firm, which they affiliated with in 1981 and owned outright by 1992. Additionally, Davies will focus his time on business development, brokerage, client services and training Roley, will continue to support and serve some of his major accounts, which include Adaptec and Solectron. Chambers will focus on remaining one of the firm's top producing brokers.

"I have basically held two jobs for years and the timing is right to start a succession plan for the days when Dennis and I reduce our daily roles in the business, which is at least five years off," says Davies. "We view this as an expansion of leadership at the firm that should enhance client services while at the same time, help create new business opportunities for CPS."

Company COO Ray Baker will remain in that role and has been promoted to director. Steve Hallgrimson, an attorney with Berliner Cohen and 25-year adviser to Greg and Dennis, is the 5th CPS board member.

CPS provides commercial real estate services to corporate clients, developers and institutional investors throughout Silicon Valley and internationally through its network affiliate Corfac International. Roley, a broker since 1980, has participated in the lease and sale of some 18 million sf of buildings and 831 acres of land. Prior to joining CPS about 10 years ago, Roley was general manager and partner of Schneider Commercial Real Estate. He was inducted into the Association of Silicon Valley Brokers Hall of Fame in 2000.
