The tenant, Lakeshore Equipment Co., will continue to occupy Hazard Center's suite 201, which is located at 7510 Hazard Center Dr. The 10-year lease is valued at $2.2 million.
Lakeshore Equipment Co. was represented by Robert Ippolito, John Jennings and Pete Bethea of Burnham Real Estate Services ONCOR International. The same Burnham brokerage team acted on behalf of the landlord, Hazard Center Investors LLC.
Located in the Mission Valley area of San Diego, Hazard Center is one of the best-known buildings in the area. Tenants in the 15-story, 389,900-sf facility include ComGlobal Systems, Prego Ristorante and Madstone Theaters. The property's current owner, which is a partnership of WCB Properties and Starwood Capital Group, shelled out $71 million for the asset in 2001.
