BEDFORD PARK, IL-Mumford Properties plans to redevelop a 255,000-sf industrial property it acquired from London-based food packager Rexam Inc. for $2.35 million for multiple tenants. The building at 5001 W. 66th St. is located on 8.2 acres in this southwest suburb.
“This sale shows some confidence in the leasing market coming back,” says Cushman & Wakefield senior director Walter Murphy, who represented Rexam Inc. with associate Scott Anderson. “There is faith in the area’s labor market and Bedford Park has always been labor driven.”
