Mike Walsh of the Camarillo office of Daum reports that Teitelbaum, is the managing general partner of Silver Strand Equity Ltd., which is constructing 14 buildings on a six-acre site at the southwest corner of Rose Avenue and Westar Drive. Walsh says the 95,617-sf Silver Strand Business Center will feature buildings ranging from 5,100 sf to 10,000 sf for sale or lease.

Walsh and Melinda Walsh, also of the Daum office in Camarillo, are the listing agents for the project. Mike Walsh says that although the buildings will be available for lease as well as sale, the Silver Strand development--like other projects developed by Teitelbaum in the Oxnard market--is aimed at principals of small businesses wanting to own their buildings. He says three buildings are already in escrow and estimates well more than half of the structures will be under contract before the project is completed in December.

Designed by Bret Shaw of Lanet, Shaw Architects of Los Angeles, buildings in Silver Strand Business Center feature concrete tilt-up construction, 400 to 600 amps of 277/480 volt power, 900 sf to 1,200 sf of office space, dock-high and ground-level loading and ample parking.
