Gate Gourmet Takes 55,000 SF

HOLLYWOOD, FL-The previous lease was bought out, and the airline caterer, forced to find a new location quickly because of eminent domain issues, inked a deal for the 55,000-sf space. The deal is estimated to worth at least $2.39 million.

HOLLYWOOD, FL-In two simultaneous transactions negotiated by ComReal Miami Inc., Gate Gourmet has taken over 55,000 sf of space in an industrial building in Miami.

Fashion Marketing International, a trucking company, originally contacted Ed Redlich to sublease its excess warehouse space at 1855 N.W. 70th Ave. Airline cater Gate Gourmet, was interested because its former facility was placed under eminent domain due to the Miami International Airport expansion project. Therefore, Faith Freight Forwarding, the property owner, negotiated a buyout of the lease with Fashion Marketing International and created a new lease with Gate Gourmet.
