Firm Chalks Up 1.5 million SF of Deals

WEST ORANGE, NJ-The first-half activity by Sheldon Gross Realty, involves both sales and lease transactions throughout the Garden State.

WEST ORANGE, NJ—Sheldon Gross Realty Inc., based here, reports total transactional activity of nearly 1.5 million sf in the first half of this year. The activity comes against a backdrop of what Sheldon Gross terms “a challenging year so far in the commercial real estate and general business marketplace.”

On the sales side, the larger deals include International Sea & Air’s acquisition of a 54,377-sf manufacturing and warehouse facility in East Brunswick, NJ from Zam Associates. SGR’s Robert Bowman and Jonathan Glick arranged the transaction. Also, a local investor sold a 25-acre piece of land in Brick, NJ to Edgewood Properties, with SGR’s Al Mirabella repping the seller.

Also in Brick, NJ, Jam Realty sold 5 Shirley Ave. to Water Tower Management. SGR’s Glick and Bowman did the deal, along with Gramercy Realty as outside broker.
