Medex, which both develops and manufactures medical devices, plans to occupy its newly leased space on October 1, 2003. According to the terms of its $2.6-million agreement, it will take 24,827 sf in the Carlsbad Courtyard facility.
Located at 2231 Rutherford Rd. within the Carlsbad Research Center, Carlsbad Courtyard encompasses a total of 39,477 sf. Its building amenities include fiber optic capabilities, locker rooms and showers. In addition, the facility recently underwent a renovation that entailed improvements to the atrium entrance and lobby, courtyard, and landscaping.
