Hersha Signals Expansion Plans with Two New Hires

HARRISBURG, PA-With the hiring of hospitality veterans to direct operations

HARRISBURG, PA-Locally based Hersha Hospitality Management hires twodirectors of operations. Frank Shandor will oversee day-to-day operations ofthe company’s hotels in the eastern region, and Robert Sullivan will do the samefor properties in the central region. K.D. Patel, Hersha’s president, says theircombined 60 years of hospitality industry experience will help take thecompany “to the next level.”

Shandor brings 33 years of industry experience to the post. Most recently hewas senior director of franchise training and field services forInterContinental Hotel Group where he oversaw training of more than 100field-based and corporate staff members. Prior to that, he was corporate director of salesand marketing for VA-based Victor Management Co. and partner/general manager ofthe Holiday House Hotel & Entertainment complex in Monroeville, PA.
