Babies 'R' Us Comes to the Festival at Waldorf

WALDORF, MD-The Festival at Waldorf has made room for a new tenant on the premises with Babies ‘R’ Us store’s recent signing of a lease for 30,700 sf of space in the 500,000 sf retail center. Space in the suburban shopping center–which is also home to a bevy of national retailers including anchors Circuit City, Marshall’s, Ross Dress For Less, and Staples–leases for $14 to $18 per sf depending on size, Madison Retail Group’s Loretta Cataldi tells GlobeSt.com. Madison represented property owner Madison Marquette in the transaction, while Sax Realty stood in for Babies ‘R’ Us.

Festival at Waldorf was built in 1990 and sits at the well-traveled intersection of Rte 5/301 and Rte 228. This newest locale marks the eighth Babies ‘R’ Us store in the greater Washington-Baltimore region. The store is on target to open in early December.
