850-Acre Parcel Sells for $15.3M

LOUDOUN COUNTY-In a $15.3 million deal, an 850-acre parcel of land known as Evergreen Rural Village has been sold by Randolph Rouse to Cris Criswell, who has already resold the property to Centex Homes. While the new owner plans to preserve 13 conservancy lots and erect a community center and single-family and townhome structures on some of the property, approximately 80% of the land will be reserved as open space dedicated, with 148 acres of that space dedicated to Loudoun County.

“A majority of the board of supervisors of Loudoun County showed wisdom in their commitment to the newly-updated zoning ordnance by approving the Evergreen Rural Village,” buyer-seller Criswell says. “Numerous environmental protections and safeguards were proffered associated with Evergreen, and I am certain that Centex Homes will develop and construct an outstanding premiere residential development for the residents of Loudoun County.” NAI KLNB Inc. represented Criswell in the deal, while Stewart Knower stood in for the seller.
