CCDC Board Approves Design of G Lofts West

SAN DIEGO-Centre City Development Corp.'s board of directors has granted design review approval of the revised project, which is being developed by OliverMcMillan. The proposed mixed-use complex will include 148 market-rate apartments, 154 parking spaces and more than 9,000 sf of street-level retail upon completion.

SAN DIEGO-OliverMcMillan’s proposed G Lofts West project has moved one step closer to reality, as Centre City Development Corp.’s board of directors has recently approved the development’s revised design.

According to the board members, design review approval has been granted, “subject to further study of the balcony and awning treatment along G Street.” Design plans call for a six-story project comprised of 148 market-rate apartments, 154 parking spaces and more than 9,000-sf of street-level retail. The mixed-use complex is slated to rise on the block bounded by Market Street, 7th Avenue, G Street and 8th Avenue in Downtown’s East Village. Construction on the project is expected to start as early as this September.
