Blue is being developed by Jim Clark and Thomas Jermoluk, formerly of Netscape and Silicon Graphics, respectively, and Paul Murphy, a well-known local builder-developer. According to Jermoluk, he is evaluating other sites in Florida for potential future acquisition and development.

"Blue is just the first of many spectacular properties to come," he says.

Raised in Hawaii, Jermoluk has achieved success with many companies in the computer and information technology industry. Jermoluk, who pursued engineering at Virginia Tech and earned bachelor's and master's degrees there, ran Silicon Graphics, which was founded by long-time friend and partner Clark.

His latest venture is South Florida real estate development. "Business is business; the operational aspects are the same, regardless of the industry. Part of the experience of entrepreneurship is learning new things," he explains.

Blue is the first project for Hyperion Development Group. Set to break ground this month, it is scheduled to be completed by August 2005. Blue's seven floor plans range from 830 sf to 2,070 sf plus custom penthouses, and pre-construction prices for the development range from $300,000 to $600,000.
