With access from both Rosecrans and Cauby streets, the hotel stands on a two-acre parcel located at 3330 Rosecrans St. It encompasses approximately 40,000 sf of improvements and houses 98 rooms. The circa 1976 property, which was renovated in 2000, features an outdoor swimming pool and spa. Guest amenities also include the Tio Carlos Mexican restaurant, which has an outdoor dining patio.
Savvas Marinos of Colliers International represented Seller Arena Inn Motel Co. LLC in the recent transaction. David Caldwell of West Coast Investment Realty acted on behalf of Pinnacle Hotels USA, with La Jolla Bank providing the acquisition financing.
The Howard Johnson acquisition marks Pinnacle Hotels' latest addition to its expanding portfolio. Aside from San Diego, CA, the firm's portfolio encompasses Banning, CA; Tempe, AZ; Tucson, AZ; Seattle, WA; Findlay, OH; Dublin, OH; and Columbus, OH.
