Tarragon signed a lease for 8,824 sf from Lauderdale River Inc. for two years, while the project is being built. The property is located at 200 E. Las Olas Blvd. and the lease is valued at approximately $500,000.

Deanna Lobinsky, first vice president, Travis Herring, associate, and Jay Adams, first vice president with the local office of CB Richard Ellis Inc. represented Lauderdale River Inc. in the lease.

Tarragon is developing the condominium project with Richard D. Zipes. The approximately three-acre development will be bordered by Las Olas Boulevard to the north, New River to the south, Southeast 1st Avenue to the west and Southeast 2nd Avenue to the east.

Suffolk Construction Co. in West Palm Beach is the general contractor for the $135 million project, which broke ground in November 2001. In all, the project will include three or four condominium towers. Construction features post-tensioned concrete decks supported by auger cast concrete pilings. The exterior wall system has floor-to-ceiling glass, giving residents a view of the ocean, the New River, Las Olas Boulevard and downtown.
