Dan Davidson, owner and operator of Lexus of Riverside, is developing the 100,593-sf project. It entails both the expansion and rehab of the Lexus of Riverside facility, which stands at 3150 Adams St. in Riverside. In addition to the expansion of the dealership's showroom, the project also involves the remodeling of existing facilities and the construction of a four-level parking deck with services on the first floor. Completion is currently slated for autumn of 2003.
Tom Walker of Walker/Rancourt + Architects has drawn up the design plans for the Lexus of Riverside project. Construction is being handled by the Auto Group of Roel Construction Co., with Pete Sara as project executive, Don Maloy as project manager, Rick Chapple as superintendent and Joe Clarke as project engineer. The development team also includes civil engineer Henry Lozano of SPZ Inc. and soils engineer Mark Burkholder of Norcal Engineering.
