Furniture Maker Inks $10M Lease at Metroplex

SAN DIEGO-Southwestern Furniture of Wisconsin LLC dba Ashley Furniture will take 40,198 sf of showroom space at the San Diego Design Center in the Metroplex. The store will open for business here on Friday, August 15th.

SAN DIEGO-Metroplex’s San Diego Design Center has landed a new anchor tenant, as Southwestern Furniture of Wisconsin LLC has inked a $10-million lease for showroom space in the signature, pyramid-shaped facility.

Southwestern Furniture dba Ashley Furniture will occupy the building’s first two floors, which encompass a total of 40,198 sf. The tenant plans to open an Ashley Furniture store in the facility, which is located at 7310 Miramar Rd. Slated to open on Friday, Aug. 15th, the home furnishings shop will serve as an anchor tenant for the “Shoppes at the Pyramid.”
