The office will be used by Plastic Omnium Auto Exteriors. Friedman's Matt Farrell and Roxanne Larson represented the landlord, West Huron Joint Venture, in this lease transaction, at Wilshire West, which is located just north of the intersection of Big Beaver and Crooks roads, just west of I-75.

The lease represents a consolidation for Plastic Omnium, which formerly occupied several locations in Rochester Hills.

The French automotive engineering company will occupy the space in September following an extensive build-out for the new facility. Dollar figures for the building work were not released.

Plastic Omnium makes bumpers, fenders, body panels and body modules for a wide variety of automotive manufacturers.

For the six months ending June 30, 2003, the company reported worldwide sales of 851 million euros, a 8.8% increase over the same period a year earlier, assuming constant exchange rates. About 30% of Plastic Omnium's sales are recorded in the North American market.
